People who experience homelessness suffer from more cognitive problems than the general population and there is very little treatment available for this population. The purpose of the Expert Panel was identify strategies and best practices for working with people with cognitive impairments that could be used in homeless services. The report summarizes the panel discussion by highlighting key issues, identified strategies and best practices, tips for providers, and next steps.
