The National Health Care for the Homeless Council is an organization of agencies and individuals that provide health care to people who are homeless. The mission of the Council is to help bring about reform of the health care system to best serve the needs of people who are homeless, to work in alliance with others whose broader purpose is to eliminate homelessness, and to provide support to Council members. To these ends, the National Council operates the Health Care for the Homeless Clinicians' Network; publishes The Health Care for the Homeless Mobilizer; organizes an annual policy symposium and various training events; conducts research; and publishes papers.
